Patty

When I was asked if I could “help” the Schafers’ part time for the summer at Vital Health, I never imagined that 11 years later I would still be here. This is the most rewarding and exciting job I have ever had and saying “job” is not correct because it has never felt like a job. The Doctors are incredible and we all get along like a smooth sailing ship. Although I’m biased with the staff because they are all my kids, I could not manage the clinic without them.

Everyday I have learned something new about the body, spirituality, health and that life is too short to be in pain or suffering for years on end. Since most of my day is spent talking on the phone (which any of you that know me-that is right up my alley), hours can go by listening to patients and reassuring them that their issues are real. Life and healing are a journey and I am blessed that our patients have let me travel with them and seeing this team make a difference in someone’s life is amazing.

Katelynn

Katelynn is our dispensary manager. Her knowledge of the ingredients in every product is such a benefit to our doctors when they are looking for a particular item. From running the dispensary to answering phones, answering patient questions, helping out with the front end reception or holding down the fort while the office manager is away, she is a jack of all trades. Always willing to “get it done” and always going that extra mile to keep our clinic running its best.

Meagan

Meagan manages our front reception part time. Her friendly manner with our patients is second to none. She is able to help them with their questions and concerns and she follows the Vital Health Clinic philosophy…that we are dealing with sick people and a friendly smile and empathetic ear is what patients need when they come through those doors prior to seeing the doctors. Meagan has another career as a professional makeup artist muameagankat.com, and works at our family run coffee shop next door to the clinic Morning Brew 192.

Courtney

Courtney is our behind the scenes girl and generally works from her home. She manages our social media and helps with any computer issues we may have. She is an event planner by trade planiteventsinc.ca which adds so much value to our team. She plans our calendar for newsletters, Instagram, Facebook as well as our Christmas parties and gatherings throughout the year. If you “like us” it’s because of her talents setting up our pages and constantly changing our posts.
